Ritesh S Kumar likens the process of making and releasing a film to getting married and having children
Director Ritesh S Kumar, known for the web series *Secrets of Love* based on Osho, compared the experience of releasing a film to the process of getting married and having children, describing it as a mix of unwelcome anxiety and unexpected joy. His upcoming film *Lachhminiya*, set for release in the first week of November, features actors Sagar Singh and Tanushree and is set against a Bihari backdrop.
Kumar has always been captivated by Bihar’s unique social fabric and traditions. He explained, "The vibrant culture, traditional customs, and distinctive lifestyle of Bihar have always fascinated me. As a Bihari, I aim to help create an environment in Bihar that attracts filmmakers and highlights its rich heritage."
Born on December 26, 1984, in Lakhisarai, Bihar, Kumar’s strong connection to his roots has shaped his work. He is optimistic about the future of filmmaking in Bihar, believing that government subsidies and growing awareness will make the state a more appealing location for film production.

His experience in VFX led him to understand editing and color grading, which paved the way for his involvement in films such as Basement, PagleAazam, Babuji Ek Ticket Mumbai, and Chal Zindagi.
