The 3-day RSS Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak has commenced in Palakkad, Kerala
Palakkad (Kerala) [India], August 31: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) began its three-day Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak in Palakkad, Kerala, on Saturday.
According to the organisers, 32 national office-bearers from various organisations, inspired by the RSS ideology and working towards social transformation, will be attending the meeting.
This marks the first time the RSS is holding its annual national coordination conclave in Kerala.
The conclave will see the participation of 90 All India karyakartas in charge of the Sangh, along with 230 representatives, including RSS Sarsangchalak Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale, Deputy Sarkaryawahs Krishnagopal, Mukunda C R, Arun Kumar, Alok Kumar, Ramdat Chakradhar, and Atul Limaye.
BJP chief JP Nadda is also taking part in the meeting.
At the start of the meeting, attendees were briefed on the Wayanad landslide and the assistance provided by RSS workers.
During the conclave, workers from various organisations will share and exchange information and experiences related to their work, as per the organisers.
Additionally, discussions will focus on the current scenario, recent significant events, various dimensions of social change, and schemes concerning national interest. The RSS stated that all organisations will also deliberate on necessary measures to further improve cooperation and coordination on various issues.
Eleven delegates from Kerala are participating in this event.
The meeting will also feature the announcement of year-long programmes as part of the RSS centenary celebrations.
